PREAMBLE: The Senior Engineer/AM – Quality will be responsible for ensuring product quality at all stages of manufacturing, from incoming materials to final product dispatch. Skills Required:
1. Production & Process Knowledge โ€“ Understanding of machining, assembly, and critical process parameters for defect prevention.
2. Supplier Quality Management โ€“ Experience in supplier audits, PPAP, APQP, and incoming material quality control.
3. Problem-Solving & RCA โ€“ Expertise in 8D, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and CAPA implementation.
4. Gauge & Instrumentation Knowledge โ€“ Calibration, MSA studies, and measurement techniques (CMM, Contour, Roughness, etc.).
5. Lean & Continuous Improvement โ€“ Experience in Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduction initiatives.
6. Customer Quality & Warranty Analysis โ€“ Handling customer complaints, 0KM & field failure analysis, and warranty claim reduction.
7. Statistical Process Control (SPC) โ€“ Control charts, process capability studies, and data-driven decision-making.
8. FMEA & Control Plan Development โ€“ Expertise in PFMEA, DFMEA, and control plan creation for risk mitigation.
9. Shop Floor Management โ€“ Workmen supervision, shift planning, and adherence to 5S & safety standards.
10. New Product Development (NPD) โ€“ Involvement in prototype and pre-launch quality planning.

Job Description:

1.Process & Production Quality Control
โžข Monitor in-process quality by setting standards and supporting production teams in achieving them.
โžข Ensure adherence to patrol inspection schedules and review inspection reports periodically.
โžข Oversee PDI (Pre-Dispatch Inspection) activities to ensure final product quality.
โžข Drive quality improvement projects, including customer and internal initiatives.

  1. Supplier & Incoming Quality Management
    โžข Monitor and control the quality of incoming materials from all vendors.
    โžข Conduct periodic supplier visits to ensure continuous improvement in their service.
    โžข Review supplier rejection reports and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
  2. Customer Quality & Complaint Handling
    โžข Ensure preparation of timely and accurate countermeasures to address customer issues.
    โžข Conduct periodic visits to customers to address critical concerns on priority.
    โžข Review customer rejection reports and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  3. Quality Systems & Audits
    โžข Ensure compliance with QMS, EMS, and OHSMS standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
    โžข Lead quality audits for the plant, coordinating with all departments for effective implementation.
    โžข Ensure proper documentation of NCs (non-conformities) and implementation of corrective actions.
  4. Cost Control & Budgeting
    โžข Finalize and adhere to the department budget while minimizing operating costs.
    โžข Monitor and control costs due to rejections and rework, supporting other departments in cost reduction.
  5. Inspection, Testing & Calibration
    โžข Ensure adherence to SPC/MSA methodologies for process stability and capability analysis.
    โžข Monitor the standard room activities, ensuring accurate gauge calibration.
  6. Continuous Improvement & Problem-Solving
    โžข Drive defect prevention strategies using tools like 7QC, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving methodology.
    โžข Implement Lean, Kaizen, and Poka-Yoke initiatives to enhance quality performance.
    โžข Support other departments in managing quality within their processes.

PREAMBLE

Assistant Manager โ€“ Accounts will co-ordinate, support and assist General Manager – Accounts in managing and administration of the accounts department, procedures, programs and help co-ordinate the day-to-day accounting process of entire SIPL Group. The incumbent, under the directions and limited supervision of General Manager, has the ongoing accountability to develop best in class people practices for the continuous improvement and development of SIPL Group.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Key Result Areas – KRA)

  1. Maintenance & Finalization of Books of Accounts
  2. Coordination with the entire department inside the group related to accounting process.
  3. Coordination with Auditors
  4. Ensure the timely compliance of statutory fillings
  5. Preparation of Monthly MIS
  6. Assistance in Finance Function ERP Implementation
  7. P&L analysis reports with Financial Ratios (Key financial information Ratio and analysis to the top management for financial decision-making).
  8. Budgetary and Variance analysis for Expense, Revenue, and other GLs. 
  9. Knowledge understanding and experience for conducting internal audit and presenting Internal Report to management.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS โ€“ KPI

  1. Maintenance & Finalization of Books of Accounts: 
    • Ensure correctness of closing of Annual Books of Accounts
    • Responsible for supporting internal, external audits per operating standards including System Audits
    • Procedures and Master Audit Plan assuring that audited systems processes and their outcomes comply with applicable regulations and guidelines.
  2. Coordination with the entire department inside the group related to accounting process:  
    • Ensuring timely completeness of Audits (Statutory & Tax) of Companies & their return filings Coordination with Operation, Production, Purchases, Marketing and other department as per their requirement.
    • Proactively identifies and leads process improvement activities/SOP creation and revisions with respect to Internal Audit observations
  3. Coordination with Auditor and department within the group 
    • Coordination with Statutory and Internal Auditor
    • Coordination with respective stakeholder for correcting the requisites internal processes
  4. Ensure the compliance of statutory fillings:  
    • Cross check the MIS reports (P&L and BS) of all Group on a monthly basis
    • Ensure compliance of internal controls

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITIES

  • Knowledge understanding and experience applying Companies Act standards, GAPs, IFRS including applicable regulatory requirements for the conduct of applicable Audit laws.
  • Working knowledge of Export and Import related documentation and Accounting.
  • Excellent Employee focus, Effective communication, interpersonal, managerial skill.
  • Superior organizational ability, with expert knowledge and experience to assume leadership position.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Office, Tally, understanding of technology to guide implementation.
  • Knowledge of statutory framework.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • CA-Inter โ€“ with 6 – 8 yearsโ€™ experience
  • M. Com. / B. Com. from a reputed university – with 8 – 10 yearsโ€™ experience
  • Must have hands on experience in Accounts, MIS & Audit and taxation.
